The benefits off dropping your unwanted or prescription drugs off will help stop children from accidentally taking the pills. Insures unwanted drugs falling into the wrong hands. Stops the medicine from being flushed into the water system to keep our wonderful water clean. Also, stops someone from getting your information off your prescription bottles.

Another way to dispose of the unwanted drugs into is to  grind the medicine up and place it into coffee grounds or kitty litter, or place them into a little bit of water or alcohol to dissolve the drug to make it inactive then throw the medicine into the trash.
